Does bankruptcy show on a criminal background check in Indiana?

I am volunteering to work with kids and, as they should, they are a running a criminal and medical background check. I’m just a little ashamed about an unavoidable bankruptcy from 5 years ago and wondered if that will show up on this too.

    The filing then an issue may exist.

    Bankruptcies are civil and not criminal. Therefore they should only show in a credit check.

    I don’t think it would show up. Just to be sure, it might be worth it to run your background check. It’s not that expensive and you can do it here:
